Hello, I’m Page Lucky, the founder and designer behind Page Lucky Designs.
I grew up in Eubank, Kentucky, a small rural town surrounded by fields, quiet backroads, and horses right outside my front door. It was a beautiful place, but it wasn’t somewhere you could easily find elegant or high-quality clothing. We didn’t have true department stores, so I learned early that if I wanted something special, I had to search for it or make it myself. Some of my most treasured pieces came from garage sales, where someone might be parting with a vintage dress they’d saved for decades or something they picked up while traveling. Those finds taught me to spot quality instinctively, and they shaped my sense of style long before I ever imagined becoming a designer.
I started sewing when I was five years old, just as my mother had, and her mother before her. They taught me everything they knew, and once I began, I never stopped. Sewing quickly became more than a hobby. It became a language — a way to create the beauty I couldn’t find in stores but did find in the pages of Vogue. When I eventually moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I fell in love with the energy and access to modern design, but the grounding influence of Kentucky never left me.
I grew up only a few steps away from a horse farm, and watching horses play every day left a deep impression on me. They were strong, elegant, and moved with a natural freedom that people often lose as they grow older. That mix of power and softness still influences how I design today.
Fabric has always been a passion of mine. I pay attention to how it hangs, how it holds its shape, and even the sound it makes when you walk. My obsession with quality materials is what drew me toward vintage clothing and couture construction. The pieces I collected from my early yard-sale treasure hunts were always made from fabrics that felt intentional and meaningful, and they aged beautifully over time. I loved rediscovering them years later and appreciating them in new ways.
Over the years, I’ve watched fashion become faster, louder, and more disposable. At the same time, it has become harder for women to find clothing that is both high-quality and thoughtfully designed. With my own S-shaped body, almost nothing off the rack ever fit without major alterations. Falling in love with a piece of clothing only to realize it doesn’t work for your body is a universal frustration, and it’s one of the reasons tailoring and wearability matter so deeply to me.
Page Lucky Designs is for women who are driven and focused, but who also embrace their feminine side with confidence. I don’t believe a woman should ever have to choose between looking powerful and feeling beautiful. To me, “romantic” doesn’t mean soft or overly sweet. It means confident, elegant, and quietly sensual. It’s the difference between a dramatic bow crafted in 100% silk versus a decorative polyester flourish. It’s the feeling of a perfectly tailored silhouette, or a piece that flows effortlessly but still makes a statement. The brand blends tailoring with femininity, structure with softness, and vintage inspiration with modern sensibility.
